Work based training in furniture restoration and assisting church conservation projects.
Established as an independent conservator in 1991.
Various projects in collaboration with Hugh Harrison Timber Conservation.
Elizabeth Cheadle is a QEST scholar. Funded by the Queen Elizabeth Scolarship Trust she has undertaken valuable study visits at the Museum of Antiquities Stockholm and assisted with the National Trust conservation at Knightshayes and Snowshill Manor (preventive conservation). Regularly attends training courses and conferences and teaches practical conservation of polychromed timber to building conservators.

Sweden 2004
Awarded a QEST scholarship for professional development. Time was spent at the museum of antiquities in Stockholm where I studied conservation treatments on the painted boards from Eke church and the collection of painted boards from Borjester church which depict the life of Thomas a Becket.
